General Board Of Discipleship of the UMC says that music is one of the most important parts of a congregation's life. Through music, a congregation worships together, teaches its children, expresses its common joys and sorrows, and celebrates and proclaims its history and tradition. It gives voice to worship. It is through the singing of hymns that the people offer their expressions of praise and thanksgiving, enter into an attitude of confession and prayer, and learn and pass on the great truths of the faith. Music ministry offers a means by which we can use our gifts to glorify God. Rehearsals are a time to become our best but is also a time of fellowship; where we nurture and care for each other as well as celebrate individual and collective joys. We sing, we laugh, we pray, and welcome all folks who want to praise the Lord in music. So please consider joining us and be a part of rich praise and worship.
