Worship With Us
Holmes Street United Methodist Church is pleased to welcome visitors to worship services.
Sunday Worship Service begins at 9:00 a.m. and 10:55 a.m.
We agree with the words of Robert Webber who said, "worship is not something done TO us or FOR us, but BY us and ... that worship is a joyous celebration of the life, death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ." Join us in our worship celebrations to honor Jesus Christ and be inspired to go into the world and make disciples for Christ.
Holy Communion
Holmes Street UMC enjoys an "open" communion table where everyone is invited to participate in Holy Communion regardless of their church affiliation. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of every month.
Children
Nursery services are provided by church staff and volunteers. To help ensure every child's safety, the building is equipped with security cameras and is kept locked during worship service. Parents are also given pagers so they can be reached if necessary.
Children as young as four are encouraged to attend worship service which includes a special "Children’s Minute" sermon. Activity bags are available for children attending service.
Handicap Access
For those with limited mobility, elevators and a special drop-off entrance are conveniently located to the sanctuary.
